If you have a new or recent release and would  like to promote it by doing an in-store live performance, stop by the shop or email us to set one up. We generally don’t book in-stores via social media messaging or over the phone. We have a PA, 3 vocal mics and 2 DI boxes, with two monitor wedges running a single mix across the front. 

We can host an in-store on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday at 7pm.  A 30 minute set is good. Be advised that it is a small space – the store has a comfortable audience capacity of 30-35 people at most.  If you have never been here, we suggest you come by and check it out before asking to book an in-store. We have hosted everyone from experimental electronic artists to acoustic singer songwriters to punk and metal bands.

We do not have a “built-in crowd”. Attendance at in-stores is largely dependent on promotion. We do not charge a cover. We have a cash tip jar for musicians on the front counter. Feel free to bring a printed QR code to put on there as well. We prefer that you sell your own merch, as you would at a club show. We have a jar of free earplugs. With a few weeks advance notice, we can arrange to have complimentary beer and sparkling water courtesy of (512) Brewing and Rambler Austin, while it lasts. From there it is BYOB.
